This sounds ridiculous but my most prized posession is my Coach of the Year Plaque. I realize that most of you are looking at it and probably thinking "why not a piece of jewelry," or "why not a photo album." And all of those are important. They are. In fact my passport would probably be my second most prized possession. However, this is my most prized possession because of what it represents. This plaque represents over ten hard years of competing as a swimmer. It represents my Swimmer of the Year awards, my division I college scholarship. It represents my hard work and dedication to the sport. It represents the love for my job, and the pure joy I get from coaching my girls. This plaque honestly and truly represents the hard work I've put in, and it represents the support others have given me.
My mom was the coach of Osceola High School and now I am, my father has always been there to support me. This award is a culmination of a few coaches who put in a ton of work into me, and a lifetime of my family and friends support. That is why this award may just be my most prized possession. (But my passport is a 2nd ;)).
